A summary of what we did to identify the SWOT posed by each industry player

Firstly, we prepared a SWOT analysis of our own product
S: Strengths
What we are good at?
What unique resources we have?
W: Weakness
Where must we improve on?
What resources do we lack?
O: Opportunities
What opportunities do we foresee?
What trends are we taking advantage of?
T: Threats
What potential threats do we face?
What changes in our industry are troublesome?
What threats expose our weaknesses?
Secondly, we prepared a SWOT analysis for each competitor (we had identified them during our porter 5 forces analysis, see blog 12)
S: Strengths
Each competitor’s strengths (based on secondary research and primary research wherever possible)
W: Weakness
Each competitor’s weaknesses (based on secondary research and primary research wherever possible)
O: Opportunities
Each competitor’s opportunities (based on secondary research and primary research wherever possible)
T: Threats
Threats faced by each competitor (based on secondary research and primary research wherever possible)
