Continued from blog 83.
Product management is a vast field with multiple sub-fields. They range from:
1. Strategy & planning (various tools highlighted in blog 79).
2. Design (UI/UX) (various tools highlighted in blog 80).
3. Execution & tactics (various tools highlighted in blog 81).
4. Go-to-market (various tools highlighted in blog 82).
5. Metrics & performance (various tools highlighted in blog 83)
6. Product development & technology (various tools highlighted in blog 84).

There are several specialised tools catering to each of these sub-fields. In this blog we look at the sixth sub-field product development & technology tools.

Overarching layer:

Email validations:
· Mailgun: Primarily used it to send email validations, to new users, signing up on our app.
End-to-end email testing service:
· MailSlurp: API platform for building SMS and email applications, automations, and integration tests. Primarily used it as an end-to-end email testing service.
API frameworks:
· Swagger: Swagger is an open-source set of rules, specifications and tools for developing and describing RESTful APIs.
· Postman
Debugging REST API:
· SoapUI: SoapUI is an automated testing tool for SOAP and REST APIs.
· Fiddler: Aims to make debugging and troubleshooting easy. The Fiddler set of tools helps you promptly identify errors to effectively fix them.
Product performance tools:
· Google lighthouse: Lighthouse is an open-source, automated tool for improving the quality of web pages.
· Dynatrace: Dynatrace is a software intelligence platform designed to help organizations monitor, optimize, and manage the performance of their applications, infrastructure, and digital experiences.
Search at scale:
· Elastic: It is a search company that builds self-managed and software as a service offering for search, logging, security, observability, and analytics use cases.
